Simac and O3Spaces introduce an innovative solution for secondary education: the paperless school

The paperless school is a combined initiative from Simac and O3Spaces and includes an exclusive integrated solution for document composition, document management, digital dossiers and (web)scanning that seamlessly integrates with existing secondary education solutions like SOM and WIS Webportaal. The solution has been developed in cooperation with some schools and will be available for secondary education institutions in the first half of 2012.

“Documents in the cloud will play a more important role in education. Until now a solution for document digitization, dossier formation, collaboration and document creation that integrates with the student administration, was missing.”, says Arno Hartman – product manager at Simac Education. “The advantages are obvious. Some schools have already started digitalizing all student dossiers but this still incorporates much manual labor. With this new initiative, we’ll deliver easy to use tools that help schools to unlock the advantages of digital documents.”

O3Spaces is a cloud platform for document creation and online document- and dossier management. The combination of O3Spaces and Simac’s student administration system SOM provides schools an integrated document solution that seamless connects the different document processes in an education setting.
