Manual Management Sprank Foundation in good hands

The Sprank foundation healthcare institute has recognized the need for an information management solution to support their process manuals which are required to retain their healthcare HKZ certification. Using O3Spaces’ Manual Management solutions, Sprank now is able to make better use of the available information from the HKZ textbooks and achieves higher quality standards, and continuous improvement though improved document management.

Motivation

The Dutch Care Institutions Quality Act requires institutions like the Sprank Foundation to deliver care responsibly. HKZ helps healthcare institutions to make quality normative and testable. The Sprank Foundation has long been HKZ-certified but found that their search capabilities on HKZ protocols and procedures were insufficient to quickly and accurately retrieve specific information. Furthermore, employees express a growing need for faster access to information and protocols to adjust their processes to changing procedures or legislation. The monitoring of the quality and application of the HKZ procedures must be optimal in order to meet the demand for high quality care.

Solution

The solution for Sprank was found by implementing the O3Spaces Manual Management Module. This application allows users to quickly and efficiently find the correct procedures and protocols and view them without having to download anything. Proposals to improve documentation are automatically sent to the administrators so they can quickly process them, using the available collaboration functionality. This increases employee productivity and ensures that the procedures and protocols in the organization are up to date and of high quality. Furthermore, the system encourages continuous improvement of the care being delivered.
